Discovering and understanding our personal values can be one of the most powerful tools for creating and enjoying an empowered life.

Yet surprisingly, many people don't know how to find their values. In this short video Emma shares a little of her personal and professional values, how they shape the work we do at London Speech Workshop, and most usefully, some techniques for finding your values.

Tip 1 - Tune in to what makes you angry! It might seem odd, but often this can help you locate a value as the opposite of whatever that trigger was.

Tip 2 - Think back to a time when you felt truly proud of yourself and delve into the emotion of that time. What values were at work?

Tip 3 - Look at someone you admire, what are their values? List them and pull out the ones that speak to you personally.
